Each year the Department we offer (a maximum of) twelve excellent candidates the chance to follow the two-year Post-Master Designer Program.
Who can apply?
You should have:
• an interest in developing new technology and applications for the built environment;
• a technical background at MSc level in one of the technical disciplines related to the built environment, such as building technology, mechanical, energy or electrical engineering. We also welcome architects with sufficient interest in acquiring the technical knowledge needed for this program to apply;
• an academic attitude to develop new technologies, with an integral view on what is needed for the future built environment;
• an excellent command of the English language and, if applicable, willing to learn Dutch, for communication with the industry.
What do we provide?
We offer students a position for a traineeship of two years. The traineeship is a formal employment at the Eindhoven University of Technology according to the Collective Labour Agreement Dutch Universities (CAO-NU).
The group of trainees will be provided with its own work place in the building of the Department of the Built Environment and the InnoEnergy EXPLORE House. Also sufficient general office space will be available to conduct teamwork and workshop sessions. General modern facilities belonging to first class universities are available such as the provision and mediation in housing, sports facilities, language courses and modern digital library facilities.
