IJsbrand Haagsma appointed secretary of 3TU.Federation

3TU.Federation’s Executive Committee has appointed IJsbrand Haagsma as secretary of the 3TU.Federation, starting from 1 June. In this independent role he will be officially responsible for the strategic development, direction and coordination of all activities undertaken by the various organisational units within 3TU.

IJsbrand Haagsma has worked for TU Delft since 1992, and has broad management and policy-management experience. Between 2005 and 2011 he was Faculty Secretary for the Faculty of Mechanical, Maritime and Materials Engineering. He is currently interim Departmental Director of the Materials Science & Engineering department. Within this role he has carried out a reorganisation and implemented a new departmental strategy.
